Las Ramblas

Situated on the Southern Costa Blanca, some forty minutes south of the cosmopolitan coastal resort town of Alicante and twenty minutes from the historic inland city of Murcia, the Las Ramblas golf course is located five minutes from the beach at La Zenia, Orihuela Costa.

This quality coastline with its sandy beaches, exotic dunes, rolling hills of the interior and challenging golf courses, within easy reach of two international airports, makes this an ideal destination for a short break or a summer or winter holiday, whether for sport or complete relaxation!

Las Ramblas is an attractive, peaceful, secure community boasting spectacular views across the 18 hole championship golf course to the sea beyond. Immediately next to Las Ramblas are two further 18 hole championship golf courses: Villamartin and Real Campoamor.

Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar

The impressive Las Ramblas Clubhouse opened in September 2009 and has an excellent bar and restaurant, with both indoor and al fresco dining, on a large outdoor terrace overlooking the golf course. In the comfortable bar area there is free wi-fi internet connection. The restaurant offers anything from snacks and sandwiches to fine dining. Its full menu includes numerous tradition dishes from the region and is a lively place to go in the evening, where you can dine up to midnight most nights.

Swimming Pools

If your property does not have its own private pool, you will undoubtedly be situated in close proximity to one of the numerous splendid feature pools on the complex. These range from “infinity” pools, to interlinked pools with rock features and waterfalls. Every property has access to at least one pool.

Tranvase Tajo–Segura Canal

There is access to the tow-path of the Irrigation Canal running through the golf course and on through Villamartín in one direction and Pilar de la Horadada in the other, against a backdrop of orange groves. This is the perfect place for walking, running or cycling on the tow-path. Bicycles may be hired locally and delivered to your door on Las Ramblas.

Réal Campoamor Clubhouse

The excellent clubhouse and hotel on the neighbouring Campoamor golf course has a terrace offering spectacular views across the golf courses of Campoamor and Las Ramblas towards the sea, with the Mar Menor and the La Manga strip in the background. This facility is open to all and, whilst it is only a couple of minutes drive away, it is well worth walking and enjoying the scenery en route!

La Fuente Commercial Centre

The La Fuente Commercial Centre (with its water features, as suggested by its name “La Fuente”, meaning “The Fountain”) was opened in 2008. It is within easy walking distance of most of the properties on Las Ramblas and many people stroll along in the evening to visit the numerous bars or restaurants. In addition, there are a selection of shops, including a pharmacy and a SPA convenience store. There are also numerous banks in the vicinity, with ATM machines.

Supermarket

Just past the La Fuente Centre is a large Mercadona Supermarket. Here you will find an extremely wide selection of food and wines, including a large fresh meat and fish section. This supermarket also stocks a reasonable amount products from other European countries. There is easy parking here and the staff, many of whom speak English, are extremely helpful.

Beach

The closest beach to Las Ramblas is Campoamor Beach and this is no more than five minutes drive away. This is a large, blue flag beach, with a beach bar and toilets, sunbed hire and easy parking. There are also a number of bars and restaurants close to the beach.

Restaurants
